Essential, Enhanced and Ultimate Safety Check Terms: The Free Essential check is a 15 point visual inspection and Enhanced / Ultimate check include 29 points visual inspections of certain parts of the vehicle only, carried out by your chosen PEUGEOT Retailer. It is not a full assessment of the vehicle's condition and the vehicle driver/owner remains responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any recommendations for additional work highlighted by the inspecting PEUGEOT Retailer do not compromise representations of PEUGEOT Motor Company Plc and will not be carried out with pre-approval from the driver/owner.
All Makes Approved parts use the Eurorepar range of parts. This range of parts is recommended for vehicles from 30 months and older from date of registration with the exclusion of performance vehicles and engines over 2L. All Eurorepar parts come with a 2 year warranty. Applies to petrol/diesel passenger cars only. Prices valid from 20 March and, unless stated otherwise cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Services that are not included
PEUGEOT Roadside Assistance aims to bring you stress-free motoring, but only includes manufacturer or mechanical faults on your vehicle. Parts or specialist services costs necessary in repairing the vehicle remain the responsibility of the customer, as does any breakdown resulting from a fault we have previously attended, where the original fault has not been properly repaired, or you have not followed advice after a temporary repair. Any onwards mobility will not be covered after the initial recovery, or taxi support to get you to work or home.
Service at your door
If a vehicle breaks down at home, we will bring our PEUGEOT Roadside Assistance service to you. If it can’t be repaired, we’ll transport your vehicle to the closest PEUGEOT Authorised Repairer or independent motor trader of your choice, to a maximum of 10 miles.
Who will be covered?
Any NHS member of staff who is driving their PEUGEOT vehicle at the roadside or home – and can produce a copy of their NHS Care Identity Number (Smart Card) or Trust ID Badge to prove eligibility.
PEUGEOT Roadside Assistance services
If the vehicle breaks down at the roadside over a quarter of a mile from home and is immobile, we’ll send Roadside Assistance to get you back on the road. This may be a permanent repair or temporary solution to keep the vehicle going until a permanent repair can be performed.
If the vehicle is recovered, we’ll offer a taxi journey for you and your passenger(s) to carry on your journey to a single destination no more than 20 miles away.
If we cannot repair the vehicle at the roadside, a suitable recovery will be arranged to take the vehicle to the nearest PEUGEOT Authorised Repairer or independent motor trader of your choice up to 10 miles from the breakdown location.
Even the simplest things can put your safety at risk or even cause you to fail your MOT. To make sure you always have a clear view always check your wipers and keep the water reservoir topped up with a good quality screenwash.

Your timing belt (sometimes referred to as your cambelt) helps control the moving parts in your engine, including the crankshaft, camshaft and valves. It’s made of a rubber-based compound and can deteriorate through general wear and tear.
Your timing belt is a relatively small part, but it’s vital for a smooth-running engine. It helps to stop the moving parts of your engine from colliding into each other. If your timing belt fails, you may need to have your whole engine replaced.

KEEP YOUR DIESEL ENGINE RUNNING SAFELY WITH A NEW ADBLUE® 10L CONTAINER FOR £20 (INC. VAT)
PEUGEOT BLUEHDI ENGINES AND ADBLUE®
Euro 6.2 is the latest vehicles emission standard for Europe, using strict tests aimed at increasing the accuracy of real driving emissions. This means vehicles with new Euro 6.2 diesel engines are likely to need additional AdBlue® top-ups between services. To help make this a simple process, we’ve introduced a new easy-to-use 10-litre container, available from your PEUGEOT dealership for just £20 (inc. VAT)
WHAT IS ADBLUE?
AdBlue® is a solution of urea and water used to treat exhaust gases and remove harmful pollutants, including nitrogen oxides (NOx), of which nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is the most harmful.
The fluid is stored in a tank in your car, but unlike petrol or diesel it is not injected into the engine; instead it is fed into part of the vehicle’s exhaust. By using SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology, the toxic NOx exhaust gases are converted into harmless nitrogen and water.
A combination of the SCR system and current HDi technology makes up the PEUGEOT BlueHDi system, which is designed to work without affecting engine performance or your driving experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
To function correctly, the AdBlue® tank of your Euro 6.2 diesel engine must be refilled with AdBlue® fluid when needed. For most drivers, this will be carried out as part of your Scheduled Service but, depending on your driving style, the new Euro 6.2 vehicles may need filling up sooner.
If the AdBlue® tank does need to be topped up, the urea warning light will come on when you switch on the ignition. You should arrange to have it topped up as soon as possible. Please refer to your Vehicle Handbook for more information on the warning light and associated messages.
If you wish to refill the AdBlue® fluid yourself, PEUGEOT's new handy 5-litre container offers a simple and safe way to do so. When adding our AdBlue® to your SCR system, you’ll have the reassurance of knowing that it meets the purity required by any manufacturer’s warranty and you won’t risk damaging the system by using a ‘below standard’ alternative.
IMPORTANT POINTS
Contact your PEUGEOT dealership to arrange a refill as soon as necessary. This is a quick and simple thing to do, so we offer it as part of our while-you-wait service. However, if you need to refill the AdBlue® fluid yourself, it is important that the engine is switched off and the vehicle is on a flat surface. As you’d expect, all our Peugeot Retailers comply with and subscribe to The Motor Ombudsman Industry Code of Practice designed to make the Motor Industry fair for all customers.
As you’ll see below, the Code covers important rules about selling new cars, as well as guidelines for services and repairs.

The Motor Ombudsman Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair requires us to provide:
- Honest and fair Service
- Open and transparent prices

- Invoices that match quotes
- Competent and conscientious staff
- Straightforward and speedy complaints handling
From time to time there may be instances when you, our customer, are not satisfied with either the product or service that Peugeot or our retailers have provided. In this instance we would always like you to talk to us directly so that we can try to rectify this.
Whilst we are clearly committed to a high quality of customer service there may be times when we are not able to resolve a dispute. In this unlikely event we would refer you to an ADR provider, either The Motor Ombudsman (TMO) or the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), depending on the nature of the dispute.
What is ADR? - ADR stands for Alternative Dispute Resolution and is a process where an independent and impartial third party considers the evidence in a dispute and makes a decision, offers a view or helps all parties reach an agreement. The Motor Ombudsman is a CTSI certified ADR provider that can offer this ADR service.
